Michaela’s approach to marketing emphasizes collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning. She believes in the power of AI tools for content creation and research, and advocates for a democratic leadership style in marketing organizations.

When it comes to the importance of continuous learning in marketing, Michaela shares:

"You are the only person who can drive your career. You're the only person who can learn for yourself. And, frankly, with all the tools that are out there for free online."

She also shares how companies can improve synergy between product marketing and sales:

"One way to improve sales outcomes is to integrate product marketing and sales together. And one way to do that is to truly engage with your customers."

And the most important metric for marketing:

"I'll tell you what metric matters the most: the pipeline, the sales pipeline metric. There is no metric more important than that overall for the entire company."
