He studied marketing at the University of Connecticut and started his career with a 20+ year stint in broadcast television, working for CBS and NBC stations.

In 2020, Mike pivoted and started Vanbrey Media Media, focusing on a full-funnel approach to help independent clinics compete with larger national brands by providing cost-effective, quick marketing campaigns that level the playing field.

At Vanbrey Media, Mike oversees all facets of their micro-niche social media marketing agency. Mike and his team create customized marketing packages that put their clients on strategic channels. They utilize granular targeting and data tracking to reach ideal consumers and measure results.

"Nobody likes to be sold to 100% of the time. If you want to build lasting relationships with customers, sometimes to you have to provide them value, whether that's content, information, or an experience, without trying to shove a product down their throats."

"To keep a brand fresh you have to keep a pulse on the times. The world tells you what's trending, have your antenna up. Swim with the tide, not against it. It's not hard to create small evolutions in your content and messaging to stay relevant, while staying true to your brand."

Mike explains what marketers can do in order to tap into the power of AI and become more effective:

"Accept it. Put your ego aside and embrace it. The train is coming down the tracks so get on board. It's a game-changing time saver. I'm not saying AI output has to be your end product, but it's a magnificent thought starter."
