When it comes to improving marketing and sales alignment, Richard shares:

"We're constantly talking cross-functionally about what's working, what new insights we're gaining from existing customers or opportunities, and how we can take those insights back into the content, engagement, and storytelling in our campaigns."

He also shares how companies should approach go-to-market strategy:

"Defining the appropriate go-to-market strategy is critical to diagnosing and understanding a few key environmental factors. One is the stage of your own company—its scale, capacity, and maturity around key processes."

And what’s crucial for effective marketing leadership:

"Leadership is about serving your team’s needs—removing obstacles, creating a game plan for their growth and empowerment, and ensuring they have the right decision-making scope and resources to succeed."
