Check out Sidra Berman's thoughts on content marketing

When it comes to creating content that customers want to read, Sidra shares:

"People always want to know two things: 1 - how can I be more effective in my role, and 2 - how am I doing compared to others. Providing "how-to" content and industry-wide surveys that allow comparisons have always been popular and effective content."

She also shares about how to keep your brand fresh over time:

"Branding is about the buyers and the image you want to convey. If buyers are accountants, they find rows & columns beautiful--the brand should embrace that. Layer buyer preferences with how you want to be perceived in the market, and that's where any successful brand project starts."

Sidra explains why buyer personas are helpful in content marketing:

"Marketing is about the market, and the market is about the buyers. If you don't understand the pains, needs, and goals of your buyers, it doesn't matter how good your lead gen or PR is--they will fail without knowing your buyers."
