Meet Malena Nenna-Chief Marketing Officer @ Bombo Clubbing and Community

Malena Nenna is the Chief Market Officer (CMO) at BOMBO Clubbing & Community, an Argentine startup that developed an app for the national electronic music scene.

Bombo’s purpose is to unite the entire scene in one place, allowing users to buy tickets, give visibility to regional artists, and interact with artists, producers, and “clavers” (regular electronic music consumers).

Since its launch in May 2022, Bombo has grown impressively, reaching 350,000 users in less than a year.

Malena’s journey to Bombo was marked by a strong emotional and professional crisis, which she overcame with the support of colleagues, friends, and family. This led her to discover her value proposition and join Bombo, a project she was passionate about from the start.

At Bombo, Malena focuses on providing the best possible user experience, understanding the language and problems of the “clavers”. She considers herself a CMO who thinks outside the box, attracting people by telling stories and being genuine in her strategy.

When it comes to working with strategic partners, Malena shares:

"It is key to involve them from the beginning, even before the discovery process. I want them to be part of our key decisions. Building long-term relationships makes the difference between a partner and a strategic partner."

She also shares about how to keep your brand fresh over time:

"People today choose brands based on how much it represents them. Basically, it allows us to build the identity of the brand, product or service"
